The beautiful world of IT Security
I work as a Lead Security Architect and Identity & Access expert in charge for a large territory within Europe and Asia. As the majority of my daytime work is confidential, the content on this site is limited to the parts which are not related to my employer or our clients in any way. Any content related to my professional alter ego is available somewhere else if published at all. Please find me on LinkedIn with inquiries of professional nature.
DynRBAC - DynRBAC - Dynamic Role Based Access Control
DynRBAC is an access control model that extends Role Base Access Control with the ability of including contextual parameters in the authorization process. It enhances the access control decision with the option of evaluating guards. (A guard is a logical expression referencing contextual data to indicate a condition that will allow access to be granted.) With this enhancements, proprietary access control extensions can be represented and validated in a unified, vendor-independent manner on the level of modeling.
Community of advanced IBM Security Identity Manager practitioners.
This google group is a private, invitation only forum, which is not sponsored or endorsed by any organization, but maintained in my spare time, outside of business hours. Started in 2009 after the first training I conducted in Poland, nowadays it serves a community of European, Turkish and Russian IDM experts.
Tinkering with bits & bytes
Technical content not (tightly) related to IT security.
Tuxicate - linux tweaks
This blog contains tiny fixes and workarounds I applied to quickly make things work, without the intention to craft an ultimate, generic solution. You will find quick 'n dirty modifications as well as more elegant kludges.
Content is intentionally kept explanatory and easily understandable to an average technical reader.
Bits & Bytes
Here you can find funny, elegant or otherwise noteworthy pieces of code - by-products of me kludging around for fun and profit, might come handy for others as well.
Non technical content
Public content that is only loosely related to information technology.
NutriScope
Online nutrition intake tracker - helps you to easily track your calorie and macronutrient intake. This web application serves the needs of those who need to track and record their daily consumption of calories, protein, fat and carbohydrates. Currently, access is provided on an invitation only basis, meaning that in to register, you will have to know an already registered user who vouches for you.
Please note that while the application itself support internationalization, the database is loaded with Hungarian nutritional facts, part of which is user contributed content. Nobody so far has taken the time to translate all this contributed content.
Shiplog v4.0 - The updated version of my shiplog
I have spent a semester in Germany in 2003/2004, and maintained an online diary to document my various adventures and share those with my beloved ones at home. In those times, blogging as such was little known, at least in my area, so I quickly crafted a website for the purpose from scratch which I called ship log.
The content is in Hungarian and merely an archive, not actively maintained any more.
